Concluding Thoughts

                To summarize my thoughts, Hercules was a unique film to tackle, especially when compared to our other films we have watched this semester. The animation giving a new perspective on filmmaking by allowing frame by frame analysis and more mystical or impossible things could be added in like titans made of elements or fluid slaying of the hydra that wouldn't be possible with a live action film, as well as opening doors to sound design and seeing where things can be manipulated in a more subtle way to show intention or express emotion. Not only because of the new media but the film was unique in its style of portrayal, a fun comedy action that does itself justice by not taking the character interactions seriously while also keeping respect for the individuals or making them caricatures like in Monty Python. The film was a fun watch and the ability to re-watch it for this class was enjoyable, my change in perspective from age allowed me to enjoy the film even more with the additional jokes and appreciation of the production and overall well done construction of the movie.
